Waves and Particles in Wonderlab, Bloomington, Indiana
On January 20, 2020, Martin Luther King’s day, the Iyengar group set-up a demonstration at Wonderlab, a local science museum. The goal was to initiate a young audience on the properties of waves and how these are different from those of particles. Equipped with a set of powerpoint slides and set if slits and laser pointers, the group engaged in a really exciting session where the audience was quite young and comprised of elementary school students.
